It is used by whites to determine how much time they can spend in the sun before their skin, immune system and mental faculties become vulnerable to damage that can be done to them by Ra’s Ultraviolet Light.

(Below, see the time considerations, set by the EPA, advising whites – on a daily basis – that shows how much Ultraviolet Light is in the planet’s atmosphere and, thus (estimates), how much time they can ‘safely’ spend in the sun.
